It took Time magazine several months to publish an article they have been working on regarding house churches. Their reporters were hanging out at the Denver House Church Conference last September! But… the article (quite well done) just came out in the recent issue with the headline:
"There’s No Pulpit Like Home"
and the subheading:
"Some Evangelicals are abandoning megachurches for minichurches–based in their own living rooms"

Thanks for pointing this out – I had not noticed it anywhere else. Interesting article…
When NBC ex-newsanchor Tom Brokaw did a special on Megachurches and called it “Revolution”, it just went to show how much the cultural icons were and are behind God’s moving in society and how totally “they” miss the point of what the Spirit is doing in real time. I had read an advance copy of George Barna’s “Revolution” just a month before Tom Brokaw embarrassed himself on national TV. I forgive him his faux paux. No doubt, unless he experiences real Christianity or the Spirit grants him the gift of repentence, he will never even know “what’s goin’ on”.
