Sometimes simple truths are the most profound:
A virgin birth
One life (His) given in exchange for another (mine)
A love relationship that He initiated
Coming home
Living wholeheartedly for the One who first loved me
Following hard after Him
No turning back
Just come home… to be the church… in this… and in every season… and the world will know Him.

Hello, I have become very weary over the years of “church jumping” do to condescending pastors with “man-pleasing” sermons, entrenched lay members who claim ownership to their congregations (it’s Christ’s church), and evangelism efforts to increase membership and bank accounts! Where is Christ in all this?! I can be a member who contributes funds, but when it comes to participating, I’m always an outsider. I feel passed over, left out, and held back! That’s why a home church seems appealing to me. No building projects and maintenance, entertainment based worship, or talk, talk and more talk!
