House Church Global Report by Simson

HousesthatchangetheworldWolfgang Simson keeps us up-to-date with the house church movement globally. Here is his latest summary:

"In total there are currently (mid 2021) at least 22.6 million house churches worldwide with a total of around 300 million members. They are, considering all internal and contextual factors, by far the most viral, adaptable and multipliable segment of Christ‐followers globally. If their number continues to grow at a very realistic rate of 20% per year, they will reach a membership of more than 4 billion people within the next 30 years – while most traditional church systems are in overall decline. This is why the author (Simson), in his publications called Starfish Vision and Starfish Manifesto, encourages all servants of Christ worldwide to work together to see half the population of the planet discipled in our lifetime (see Mt 24:39‐41) through the massive planting of house‐based Kingdom Communities."

The house assembly is the only true assembly, as it was designed to be by Yeshua. Everyone is blessed in many ways and the end result is a true life in Christ as opposed to merely being a member of a religion.

Pulpit and pew printed saints are in the minority around the world. Must believers are poor, remote, and/or oppressed. They don’t have the money or freedom to build pulpit buildings and hired Bible experts for weekly sermons.
PLus, the Bible tells us those who are “poor in the eyes of the world” are “chosen” to “be rich in fatih”, which means greater obedience.
    James 2:5
Listen, my dear brothers and sisters:
    Has not God chosen
those who are poor in the eyes of the world
    to be rich in faith
    and to inherit the kingdom
he promised those who love him?
Just as each generation of human beings is raised up in a home around the world, the next generation of believers should be raised up in shared homes and families of faith.

Yes, Tim, Jesus said it. Let’s continue to act on it. Consider what I’ve gleaned, written in an essay-memoir at wespankedgod.org.
