There is a very exciting website called GenerousGiving.org— encouraging believers in the joy and excitement of being, yes, generous givers.
Why should we give?
We might ask instead, “Why should we not give?” We often assume that money exists for our own benefit, rather than for God or others.
Generous Giving is a nonprofit educational ministry that seeks to encourage givers of all income levels… to experience the joy of giving and embrace a lifestyle of generosity, according to God’s word and Christ’s example. It was launched in 2000 by the Maclellan Foundation, a 50-year leader in Christian grant-making, to stir a renewed, Spirit-led commitment to generosity among Christians—reminding rich and poor alike that “It is more blessed to give than to receive” (Acts 20:35b).
The site provides opportunity for Christians to look at the many different opportunities for giving that are available around the world.

When it comes to giving, I like to just look around me. Like the couple up the street whose breadwinner is unemployed and at risk of having their mortgage foreclosed. Or the young mother in the grocery store holding a few groceries in one hand while counting her dollar bills in the other hand to see if she has enough money to cover her purchases… then, putting something back on the shelf… the look of sadness and frustration on her face shows her pain. Or the elderly gentleman who sits quietly in his small apartment wondering how he will make it through this month on the tiny bit of money he has. Or the widow down the street who doesn’t know what she’ll do about the repairs her house needs.
There are opportunities for giving all around us if we will take the time to look. Reach out with the compassionate heart of Christ and make a way for his light to shine into the lives of hurting people all around. Talk to people. Talk to people you don’t even know. Show that you care, and prove it with the sacrifice of your money. Help make someone’s life better, even if it’s just in a small way.
It’s a shame that we’re so eager to contribute to the official religious organizations, we have nothing to spare to the people we can have the most influence on for the kingdom of God.
And if you still don’t know what to do with your money, give it to me. The number of people I know who need help seems endless. I will make good use of your extra cash. I promise!
I agree. But I also think it is worthwhile to know about needs in other parts of the world and be open to God touching our heart. If one has never been in a third world country, then one does not comprehend the real devestation of true poverty.

wonderful prayer ministry has begun this process by adopting a statement of purpose, which reads as follows: “is to bring people to Jesus christ and membership in his family, develop them to Christ like, wining souls for christ organising of crusade outreahes and equip them with the word if christ in the church and life mission in the world, in order to magnify God’s name.”
but to grow in our understanding of what it means to live as Christians in this period of history discovering ways in which we can use our gifts to be of service to others. Church is to be both enjoyable as well as being meaningful. Our style of worship and the activities that we engage in, all reflect our purpose.
I thank God since this year many souls have been won for christ, many have recieved christ as their personal lord and saviour, any new converts won for christ,,my wife and myself do provide them free materials such as literatures and Bibles to make them strong in the lord, which we have been doing and we will remain doing it for christ.
Roselind and i, writing to solicit for your assistance to help us with Gift and award bibles and 10 large gaint prints bibles,, all these requested materials will go along way to those who have eye problems the gaint print while the gift and award bibles will go along way to those who just recieved christ as their personal lord and saviour free of charge.
